The Emerald Note Book: Irish Duets for the Next Stage is a curated bundle of violin and cello duets drawn from beloved Irish Folk Tune tradition. Also available in other instrument pairs, these string duets are created for Early Intermediate students ready to shift into 3rd and 4th positions.
These Irish Folk Song arrangements are perfect in student recitals or included in a set-list for professional gigs, St. Patrick’s Day season features, or simply bringing a little Irish flavor into your weekly practice. This collection is designed to feel both achievable and genuinely beautiful.
Difficulty: Early – Mid Intermediate: May include 1st and 3rd (4th for cello) positions, natural harmonics, some simple double stops or bars, and occasional very easy 3 or 4 string chords.
