How do I receive my sheet music after purchase?
All of our sheet music is delivered digitally. Once your payment is complete, you’ll receive an email with a secure download link. The link is typically sent within minutes of your purchase. The download link will remain active for 7 days.
What format are your sheet music files in?
Our scores are provided as high-quality PDF files, optimized for printing on standard 8.5×11″ paper or for reading on tablets. For the best experience for our products with colorful artwork, you may opt to print them with a printing service (i.e. Staples, the UPS store, etc.) for a professional look.
Can I print multiple copies of the sheet music I buy?
Yes. When you purchase a digital download, you may print as many copies as you need for your personal use. Sharing those copies with others, however, is not permitted.
Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
If you encounter technical or quality issues with your digital content, please let us know! We want you experience to be satisfying. If a digital product is purchased accidentally, a refund may be requested within two days of purchase. To qualify, the product must not have been downloaded or used. We reserve the right to decline a return if there is evidence of significant use or abuse. These limitations ensure the protection of copyright and intellectual property rights. Do you offer beginner-friendly duets?
Yes. Our collection The Apprentice’s Note Book is designed for newcomers, with simplified arrangements of Amazing Grace, Loch Lomond, and Greensleeves, and a Scorekeeper’s Sheet to help organize practice.
Can I perform your arrangements in public?
Our sheet music is licensed for personal, educational, and studio use. Professional performances, recordings, or broadcasts require permission from Duo.Hansen. Performances by students for educational purposes do not require permission, though credit is required on the program. Please contact us for permission for professional use.
Can I share my purchased sheet music with friends or colleagues?
No. Your license is for personal use only. Sharing, uploading, or reselling our sheet music is not permitted under copyright law. We can only do what we do thanks to the respecting of these copyright laws.
Do you have gigging repertoire good for weddings or special events?
Absolutely. Our Golden Hour Duets bundle is coming soon, and is created with weddings in mind, including classics like Pachelbel’s Canon, Puccini’s O Mio Babbino Caro, and Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. We currently have pieces like Holst’s Jupiter, O Mio Babbino Caro, and Beethoven’s Andante Cantabile from his Pathetique Sonata which do well in weddings.

What are the seals I see at the bottom of your pieces?
The Scorekeeper’s Seal System is a collectible achievement path, like musical karate belts but with whimsical scrolls and magic. Students can earn certificates for each tier of Beginner and Intermediate levels by practicing, progressing, and completing challenges. It helps learners stay motivated with a sense of adventure and accomplishment.
How do your levels compare to the Suzuki levels?
Our seal system contains 4 main levels: The Seal of First Light, The Seal of Harmonic Growth, The Seal of Mastery, and The Seal of Flame and Fable. They can be compared to Suzuki like this:
The Seal of First Light – Suzuki Book 1–3 (violin/viola) Suzuki Book 1 (cello), early students, comfortable with basic rhythms, simple key signatures, 1st position only

How do your duets compare to free sheet music available online?
Unlike most free sheet music available around the internet, arrangements with the Duo.Hansen seal are guaranteed to be of the highest quality. This means they will never have improper accidentals, awkward or incorrect time or key signatures, and will be designed to be played in specific positions to facilitate playability as opposed to simply being transcribed to fit in the range of the violin, viola, or cello. With Duo.Hansen, all fingerings, positions, string crossings, bowings, and articulations have been considered and edited to match the level assigned by the Scorekeeper’s Seal.
